The boys at Remembrance Ranch have been experiencing many new and exciting things on the Manistee River Trail. Their journey has been filled with practical skills, personal growth, and unforgettable memories.
Throughout the hike, the boys have learned how to build fires, hang bear bags in trees, and manage and cook their own meals. These activities have not only taught them valuable survival skills but have also fostered a sense of independence and responsibility.
In addition to these practical skills, the boys have been having a lot of fun in the river. Whether it’s splashing around, swimming, or just cooling off after a long hike, the river has been a source of joy and relaxation.
Alongside the fun, the boys have spent time learning more about their bodies and hearts. This journey has provided numerous opportunities for self-discovery and reflection, helping them understand their own strengths, challenges, and emotions.
We are currently hiking the last leg of the trail, working hard to beat the bad weather that’s coming in. The boys are determined and resilient, pushing forward together as a team.
Thank you for your continued support and prayers for these incredible young men. Stay tuned as we complete our adventure on the Manistee River Trail!
