Girls WAR: Building Trust and Preparing for the Trail

by | Jun 11, 2025 | Ranch News | 0 comments

Today at Girls WAR was all about reflection, teamwork, and preparing for the journey ahead—physically, mentally, and emotionally.

We began the day with one of our most impactful activities: making masks. Each teen created a mask, designing the outside to represent how they believe the world sees them—and the inside to show how they feel on the inside. This powerful exercise sparked meaningful conversations about identity, vulnerability, and the pressure many girls feel to “wear a mask” in everyday life. As we shared together, we reminded each young woman of this truth: they are fearfully and wonderfully made. No mask is needed to be worthy of love and acceptance.

Later in the day, the girls got hands-on with trail prep as we practiced setting up our tents. It was an important step to help us get ready for our upcoming backcountry adventure and helped build confidence.

The afternoon wrapped up with a high-energy entrepreneurial challenge: building the tallest tower with limited supplies! The activity required creativity, problem-solving, listening skills, and a whole lot of teamwork. Some structures soared while others tumbled—but every group learned valuable lessons about leadership, resilience, and communication.

As always, it’s a blessing to walk alongside these brave and brilliant young women. Each activity isn’t just about fun—it’s about growth, trust, and discovering who God made them to be.

More updates coming soon! Thank you for your continued prayers and support 💛
