Today was the kickoff to our journey with the boys of WAR. Right from the start, these teens began to lean into the experience—and into each other.

The day was packed with challenge and adventure. The boys tackled the rock wall, pushing past fears and discovering they’re capable of more than they thought. Whether they made it to the top or not, each one walked away a little stronger and more confident.

Next came the swim test. Afterward, the boys had a chance to just play in the water, laughing, splashing, and letting their walls come down.

And that’s exactly what’s happening: walls are already breaking down, and friendships are beginning to take root. These moments of connection—on the wall, in the water, around camp—are the building blocks of something greater. We’re just getting started, and we can’t wait to see what God has in store!
