The boys kicked off the second day of their journey with cooler weather and partly cloudy skies—an answered prayer after yesterday’s hot, sunny hike. Spirits remained high as they packed up and hit the trail once again, pushing through tired legs and heavy packs with determination and grit.

This morning’s devotion sparked powerful reflection. We talked about how our sin creates a space between us and God—a gap we cannot jump on our own. As a tangible reminder, the boys took turns trying to physically leap across a marked distance, realizing how impossible it is to close that space without help. It was a meaningful visual that helped connect spiritual truth to the trail.

Even with the physical challenges, the boys are continuing to encourage one another and press on with good attitudes. When they arrive at camp tonight, they’ll cool off with a refreshing swim in the river and celebrate another day of growth and perseverance together.
