We hope this update finds you blessed! At Remembrance Ranch, we believe prayer is the most important part of our program.
We are seeing a lot of frustrations and anxiety around the COVID virus among our teens, staff, and volunteers during the Holidays. This months Bible verses will hopefully give us all some direction on what we should be doing while we are awaiting the world to be healed of this nasty virus. During hard times, I encourage you to do what Job did, he fell to the ground and worshipped, Job 1:20. While you are worshipping/praying, remember these words and be patient as you await God’s answers.
God speaks to our times of troubles:
“Romans 5:3-4 And not only that, but we also rejoice in our afflictions, because we know that affliction produces endurance, endurance produces proven character, and proven character produces hope.”
God promises to go before you:
“Deuteronomy 31:8 The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”
God tells us there is a time for everything and we must be patient:
“Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing, a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away, a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak, a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace.”
God is with you, YOU are never alone:
“Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not onto your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your path.”
“Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
We hope that you and your families have a wonderfully blessed and peaceful Holiday Season!
