Alex,
Happy first day at camp!! Looks like we am the first one to post 🙂 We’re sure you’re nervous but take this experience to reflect on life and meet new friends. We love you and will be praying for you bud!
Alex – Hope you are having a great time so far. Work hard on your backpacking trip. Backpacking is so much fun! You get to see things that only backpakers get to see.
Hope your second day of camp is going well! Looks like you guys had a blast yesterday. I’ve climbed that same wall!! You, me, grandpa, and great grandpa have all been in that lake too.
Alex – looks like you’re having a good time! We enjoyed watching you on the climbing wall! You did so good! And the arm wrestling looked intense! Keep having fun and making friends! Love you! ❤️ Aunt Kathy and Matt
Alex,
I hope day two was even better than the first two day! We enjoy seeing the pictures of you guys everyday! We love you bud. Keep up the great work and grow stronger daily.
Hi Alex,
My prayers are that you are having a great time at camp, meeting new friends, listening and then following directions, and learning all of the cool things you can accomplish. I love you 😘. Looking froward to hearing about all of your adventures when you get home!!!! Grammy Kris
Alex,
Stay strong in your listening skills and work hard to support your fellow team mates as you will need to function as a team to accomplish all the great things you are doing and going to do this week. Remember….God loves you and cares for you and is always there when you need him….just a prayer away. Love you more…..Grammy Kris
I am so proud of you for the hard work you have been doing so far! Keep up the good work. Lily says Hi as well, we can definitely tell she misses you! My Prayer for you today is that you learn not only to lean on others around you for help but you lean on and rely on Christ to make you stronger through all the challenges you face each day. Love you!
Alex,
I am so proud of you! You are loved and supported by your family and your church family. I can’t wait to hear all about your time at the Ranch, I’m sure you’re going to have awesome stories. I am praying for you each day!

Alex – camp looks so fun! I loved seeing you riding your horse. Was that Hawkeye? Cool names. I am praying for you to learn a lot and grow. I hope you are making new friends and I hope it’s not too hot. Love you!
Hi buddy!!!
I am so proud of you for climbing the rock wall. It is so rewarding to set goals for yourself and then achieve them. I saw the end of the archery video but didn’t get to see you shoot. Great practice for hunting this fall. I used to ride horses at Cran Hill too when I went there for horse camp. Back when I went we didn’t get to stay in cabins with bathrooms and bunk beds. When you’re riding, look for the Pavillion that has Great Grandpa Kilgore’s name on it. He did a lot of work at that camp and grandpa grew up camping there with his family. It’s exciting that now you get to be there. I pray that you build new friendships, that you learn how amazing you are, that you realize your potential and that you grow to love God more and more. We are proud of all you’ve accomplished and all you will accomplish. Keep up the good work.
Hi Alex, I am praying for you this week and hoping you have a great time at camp. Don’t ever forget how much you are loved handsome!
I can’t wait to hear all about some of the exciting things you have learned and done. You will have lots of new stories to tell and I will be ready.
Love,
MIss Laura
Whoa, Al Pal. That obstacle course looked cool and probably pretty difficult!! Keep trusting in your leaders and in God and I pray that you are enjoying and learning this week. Love you! Aunt Natasha
Wow day four already! Time is just flying by. We love seeing all the pictures and updates. Hopefully this trip is building skills for you to grow into a good young man. I can’t wait for you to go on the backpacking trip. The Manistee River Trail is absolutely beautiful with so many cool views of the river. A few years ago I did a three day backpacking trip there. Can’t wait for you to come over and tell us all about the trip. We have just been working hard on the new house. Hopefully soon we will have another bed set up and you can have a sleep over.
Hi Alex! We have been thinking of you and praying all is going well at camp. We love the picture of you and your buddy doing the obstacle course together. What a great challenge with so many wonderful lessons. We pray you are enjoying your time and learning lots of great things. We can’t wait to hear about your horse, your backpacking trip, and more!
Love you!

Hey Alex!

— Pastor Jon
Yeah I heard you had quite a night that night! Scary stories and then a power outage, crazy!
Remember, even when the lights go out, there is always someone with you – GOD.
Lily misses you so much! She wakes me up every night at 3am wanting to go outside. I think she is looking for you. During the day she just lays around with sad eyes.
Floating down the river looked like a lot of fun.
We continue to pray that you’re learning a lot and loving God endlessly as you learn more about his grace, mercy and faithfulness.
Alex,
We hope you have an amazing time backpacking the trail. It is a beautiful hike. I know it may be scary at night in the dark but take a moment to look at the stars and marvel at the beauty if God’s creation. Rosie has a cold and has had a fever the last two days so she hasn’t been her sunny self. She is starting to feel better. Lily has finally gotten used to sleeping in our room but she sneaks into your room every chance she gets.
Hey buddy!
Today is the big backpacking day, huh? We hope you have a great experience out on the trail. We are excited to hear all about the things you’ve done at camp.
XOXO, Uncle Tom, Aunt Christina, Xaxon, Reyna, & Cruz

This is probably my last time to write to you as you will be home soon and off to your next adventure in the UP. Just think you will have 6 hours for me to ask you questions….LOL. Grandpa keeps showing me the facebook pictures and they look amazing. Hope the backpacking adventure is fun, builds up your strength and endurance, and helps you bond with your fellow team mates. Love you bunches, Grammy Kris
