The two horses I’ve taken care of so far are named express and Hawkeye. Express is a pony but still kind of big, and Hawkeye is a normal sized horse

      Hi buddy!!!
I am so proud of you for climbing the rock wall. It is so rewarding to set goals for yourself and then achieve them. I saw the end of the archery video but didn’t get to see you shoot. Great practice for hunting this fall. I used to ride horses at Cran Hill too when I went there for horse camp. Back when I went we didn’t get to stay in cabins with bathrooms and bunk beds. When you’re riding, look for the Pavillion that has Great Grandpa Kilgore’s name on it. He did a lot of work at that camp and grandpa grew up camping there with his family. It’s exciting that now you get to be there. I pray that you build new friendships, that you learn how amazing you are, that you realize your potential and that you grow to love God more and more. We are proud of all you’ve accomplished and all you will accomplish. Keep up the good work.

We love you so so much!

    APWitte,

Wow day four already! Time is just flying by. We love seeing all the pictures and updates. Hopefully this trip is building skills for you to grow into a good young man. I can’t wait for you to go on the backpacking trip. The Manistee River Trail is absolutely beautiful with so many cool views of the river. A few years ago I did a three day backpacking trip there. Can’t wait for you to come over and tell us all about the trip. We have just been working hard on the new house. Hopefully soon we will have another bed set up and you can have a sleep over.

    With much love,

Lily misses you so much! She wakes me up every night at 3am wanting to go outside. I think she is looking for you. During the day she just lays around with sad eyes.

Floating down the river looked like a lot of fun.

We continue to pray that you’re learning a lot and loving God endlessly as you learn more about his grace, mercy and faithfulness.

You are kind, you are smart, you are important!!

    Alex,
We hope you have an amazing time backpacking the trail. It is a beautiful hike. I know it may be scary at night in the dark but take a moment to look at the stars and marvel at the beauty if God’s creation. Rosie has a cold and has had a fever the last two days so she hasn’t been her sunny self. She is starting to feel better. Lily has finally gotten used to sleeping in our room but she sneaks into your room every chance she gets.

    Love you!
