A little bit about who I am. I am a father of four and have three grandsons who I enjoy spending time with. I came to know Jesus as my savior fifty one year ago when I was twenty-one. He had a plan for my life, and he has a plan for you. Tomorrow you head off to camp. I will be praying for you every morning, and i am praying that the Lord will show you more about his plan for you this week. In the Old Testament book of Jeremiah the Lord says “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. “

Great job on the zip line today. That looked like lots of fun. How is the horse riding going? Were you able to keep the ribbon from ripping?

We saw a really cool humongous cave today and Alyssa saved my life today so Thank Jesus for that.
It has rained all day today and we have had no sunshine. We hope to maybe have no rain tomorrow.
All 11 of us miss you but know you are making great friends and will have a lot more fun!

I’ve been checking everything out online and I’m super jealous of what you guys get to do. I come up on Wednesday to hang out with you guys through the weekend, and feel like I’ll miss all the cool inside jokes and stories that have happened. I will continue to pray that, along with all of the fun and challenging activities you and your fellow campers are sharing you would also learn more about yourself, the Lord, how much He cares for you and be drawn into a deeper relationship with Him through what you are experiencing at camp.
Hey Christian, we were in no signal area today but watched the live when we got back. We saw you throwing the tomahawk. That looks so fun! I hope you are making great friends and you look like you are having a great time. Are you earning all your points to get stuff at the store? I feel God is so happy to see all you are doing at camp and smiling down on you all. Miss you buddy and I am so excited to hear about you stories!!

I pray that you are taking in all the things you are learning during your devotional too! It’s so exciting to know that God has a plan for you and will meet you right where you are! I also pray for courage and strength as you begin the hike! Lean on the Lord and take it all in!!!

I am praying for you as you are now on your hike. You may face some challenges that you have not faced before. Lean hard on the Lord and work with each other in the group. In the Old Testament book of Joshua the Lord told Joshua “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
