Yesterday was packed with exciting activities and new experiences for our boys at Remembrance Ranch. They started the day problem-solving with their horses, learning valuable lessons in trust and communication.
Time spent at the rifle range honed their focus and precision, and a relaxing float down the river on tubes provided a refreshing break.
After dinner, the boys enjoyed a trip to the store and spent some solo time reflecting in the book of Proverbs. A lesson in fire building followed, where the boys learned to start a fire, setting the stage for an evening of fun and spooky stories around the campfire. To top it off, we took a thrilling night hike without flashlights, adding a dash of adventure to the night.
This morning, the boys completed their riding evaluations with the horses, earning their CHA I certifications. Every single boy passed! We celebrated this achievement with a final trail ride, joined by all the staff, wrapping up our time at the barn on a high note.
Currently, the boys are engaged in some healthy competition with archery tag, and soon we’ll head to the zip line for even more excitement.
As we prepare to leave for the Manistee River Trail tomorrow morning, we ask for your prayers. Please pray for the boys to come together as a team and for their safety on this new adventure.
Thank you for your continued support of Remembrance Ranch and these incredible boys. Stay tuned for more updates!
