This morning Girls W.A.R. camp began with an important reminder: each one of them is uniquely created by God as part of His beautiful and intentional design. The girls explored the truth that humans are the crowning masterpiece of creation, entrusted with responsibility and care over the world around us. One fun way they connected this truth to camp life was through horseback riding, recognizing it as one of the many blessings God has given us to enjoy and steward!
The girls spent more time building their confidence in the saddle today, continuing to grow in both skill and courage as they learned to ride. Some of the girls even had the opportunity to try riding bareback! It’s been so encouraging to watch them try new things and cheer each other on.

Later, they participated in a powerful “mask” activity. This gave them space to reflect on what they show on the outside versus what they may be feeling on the inside. It created a meaningful opportunity for honesty, connection, and deeper understanding.

In the afternoon, the adventure continued as the girls floated down the Muskegon River. Tubing was definitely a highlight of the day! With laughter echoing across the water, splashes all around, and the rain holding off just long enough, it was a refreshing and joy filled experience they won’t soon forget.
The day wrapped up with riflery, which was a brand-new experience for some of the girls. It was exciting to see them step out of their comfort zones and try something different with confidence.

To end the evening, the girls enjoyed the rewards of their hard work and positive attitudes by spending the points they earned through kindness, teamwork, and great attitudes throughout the day. They celebrated with delicious treats and crafts, a perfect way to wind down after such a full and meaningful day.

We’re so grateful for all that God is doing in and through these girls. Each day brings new growth, deeper friendships, and unforgettable memories!
