The boys wrapped up their first day with showers, a fireside discussion on using their Bibles and journals, and a time of reflection. It was a meaningful close to a day that not only challenged them physically, but also began stretching them spiritually.
Sunday began with devotions, breakfast, and one on one counsel time before the boys stepped into a full day of activities focused on teamwork, courage, and growth.

One of the highlights was the Spider Web Challenge. The boys quickly discovered that success wasn’t about individual strength, but about communication, trust, and working together. As they helped each teammate through the web, they learned to encourage one another and put the team first.

In the afternoon, many of the boys experienced something brand new—horses! After learning the basics of grooming and saddling, they spent time getting comfortable and building confidence. For several campers, it was their first time riding. What began with hesitation quickly turned into excitement as they learned to trust both the horses and themselves.

The boys also enjoyed time with other ranch animals, including goats, miniature horses, and even an alpaca! These simple moments created space for laughter, connection, and relationship building throughout the day.
Through shared experiences, challenges, and everyday moments, friendships are forming and a strong sense of brotherhood is already taking shape. The evening ended with reflection, journaling, and fireside discussion, giving the boys space to slow down and process all they are learning.

This weekend is about more than activities. It’s about stepping outside comfort zones, building friendships, and growing in confidence and character. Most importantly, it’s about the seeds being planted in each of these young men—seeds of faith, resilience, and leadership.
Thank you for continuing to pray for our campers, staff, and volunteers. God is at work in special ways!
