After Leaving red Bridge, the girls hike earlier than expected! While it was not easy, They pushed through and completed the first leg of the hike in record time! They were excited to take their packs off for the amazing view from the campsite!

After setting up camp, the girl spent time in the river, some swimming and others catching sea creatures! And after telling stories around the campfire, the girls went to bed.  After setting up camp, the girl spent time in the river, some swimming and others catching sea creatures! We then gave the girls time to give affirmations to each other about the hike and we heard things like, “Stacie kept encouraging me” and “Mary was a big support”.  And after telling stories around the campfire the girls went to bed.

Today, the girls woke up and ate breakfast just after our morning devotional on John 3:16 about Belief. They took off for the second leg of the hike and are now heading to the waterfall!

The girls are having a lot of fun but also learning a lot about themselves as they challenge themselves and others.  We will continue to post as we are able…please keep the prayers and comments going as the girls need them!
