Update!!

Hello families, prayer partners and friends!

I heard from the campers this morning. They have terrible reception, but they asked me to post on their behalf! They are currently hiking along the Manistee trail, and have some big news to share! Last night, three of our amazing campers accepted Jesus Christ as their savior! Congratulations to KC, CA and AR on this amazing decision! Their lives will forever be changed, and we welcome then into the family! Several of the other boys are also asking many questions about salvation. SQ is on the fence, and the enemy is trying to deter him. Please pray for his protection!

Of course, with praise comes attack. The enemy was in full force last night, trying to use the campers for his agendas. Please pray for TK to have peace and contentment right now. Please continue to pray for safety and protection for all the campers and staff. Please pray the devil is silenced and kept away from them all. Please pray for sleep and rest, energy when needed, and that hearts will continue to be led to Christ!
On a funny note…Katie had to do 100 push ups yesterday so the campers could get Mentos. Pray for her arms to rest and energy, she was sleepy and sore this morning!
I will post more as I talk to them!!
Blessings,
Jenn

How exciting – you asked Christ to come into your life. What an answer to prayer. Will now ask for protection against attack. I know He will keep you under His wings.

Hi CA, this is MT. I remember from last year that I had a great time and I know you will too. The hike might be long, but it is super fun. I am glad you are getting to know the other campers, and hopefully you will make some new friends. I am glad to know that you accepted Jesus into your heart, I did the same last year. I have had my bible from RR for a while now and it has helped me a lot. I love the way it has references of what kids are like today to help me through my problems. -MT

Congrats to the three young men that accepted Christ in their lives and especially AR! We have been praying for you and asking that your eyes and ears be open to His greatness! Every day may not be good, but there is something good in every day. When you have Christ in your life that becomes more of a reality. Congratulations! Hope you guys are all having fun, sharing some laughs, getting to know each other and learning a lot about your strengths!

AR! I saw your mom today. We looked at the pictures and she was really happy. I told her about your choice to accept Jesus into your life. She said “that makes me happy. I hope he makes some new friends and really changes.” We also talked about your goal for school and grades, and she smiled! Keep it up!! She misses you! She hopes to get on the blog soon!
