The BIG lake and our BIG God!

Today was a great day! It’s really late and the team is exhausted, but I wanted to be sure to get a quick post up for everyone!

We kicked off day 1 by taking the boys to a beautiful, secluded, 12 acre property on Lake Michigan near South Haven.  The boys quickly learned each other names and began making friendships that will last a lifetime. It’s hard to put words to these experiences.

We arrived at Camp Manitou-Lin and took the boys 50 feet into the air on the ropes course! The boys confidence grew as they challenged each other to make long jumps with their eyes closed and cross obstacles one-handed or no-handed! A few of the boys even made the final “Leap of Faith” blindfolded! More pics and videos on our Facebook page! Check out this video of Dylan making the leap…click on the IMG link.

We finished the day around the campfire discussing expectations. The group decided we were going to practice RESPECT this week.

We serve such a big God!

What an awesome God we have and serve. The pictures are great showing the kids having a great time. This all could not happen without God and you leaders. Thank you for using your spiritual gifts for the RR. You are an encouragement to all of us to take that next step in serving God. We know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. Romans 8:28.
    Enjoy today blessings!
