Thursday is a big day! Thursday morning the boys continued in their devotion series and talked about how God was a relationship with each of us. We are His chosen, His beloved. God wants each of us to go to Him with all of our hurts, our struggles, our fears, our joy, our accomplishments. God wants to do life with us! As we grow in a relationship with God, we learn it can be truly transformational.

Thursday morning the boys packed up and headed out on the Manistee River Trail. From Thursday-Saturday they will backpack 11 miles. This is a new experience for most, if not, all of the boys. This is sure to be a life-changing experience. Pray that as they work through the highs and lows they keep God close and feel the strength He will give each of them. Pray the know they accomplish these hard and difficult things not by themselves, but with God as their provider and strength.

The boys will return home in just a few short days. I am sure they will have so many stories to share. God brought this group of boys together on purpose, for a purpose. I pray their lives have been changed and they go forward knowing more about who they are and they face challenges with the grace and courage God will always give them.
