The Next Step

The journey continues! The boys are now in their next phase of the camp experience. Thursday morning the group finished their time at CranHill. Morning devotion time was spent talking about how much God loves them more than anyone and that the love of God is unconditional. The love of God empowers each of us to embrace our identity as His child and walk in the purpose He has for us. When we fully grasp the depth of God’s love for us, we can live with confidence of knowing we are loved beyond measure and we are called to make a difference in the world around us.

Powerful words as the boys set out on the next step of the journey. With excitement and a bit of anxiousness about the unknown next steps, the boys loaded up their packs and began the hike. The group successfully made it to their first campsite last night. Today they will wake up, pack up and continue to move forward to their next destination. Continue to pray for strength and courage and positive mindsets. Pray the journey will memorable and transformational.

Wanted to share a few more pictures from the boys last day with the horses at CranHill. Wednesday the boys were able to end their horsemanship time with a trail ride. The group was able to leave the paddock area where they trained with their horse throughout the week and adventure on a trail ride throughout CranHill’s property. A great finish to the time spend with their horses.

The boys are doing so many fun things! All the new adventures and challenges will bring lots of stories when the come home. Keep the prayers coming as the group continues the hike. They are so close to the finish – let’s pray for a strong finish!

I know from personal experience the trail can be difficult, but I know you will have the strength and energy you need as you ask God to help you! I’m praying you have another great day and finish strong!
